Prerequisites for Proxmox

Please read the following prerequisites and deployment information prior to installing OmniVista Terra.

Prerequisites

Ensure that the following are in place before you begin:

  • Download the OmniVista Terra OVA file and Build release file ( .7z file) from the MyPortal website.

  • A Proxmox server with SSH access.

  • Sufficient hardware resources for the selected deployment option (see Deployment Sizing Options below).

  • The server storage uses SSD disks.

  • The server CPU supports AVX/AVX2 instructions.

  • Your assigned network bridge on the Proxmox server.

  • An available storage target that meets the required performance profile (SSD or NVMe-backed storage).

  • Network access so the VM can communicate on the assigned subnet and the browser can reach WebAdmin on port 3000.
